Joe's Story

From Austin Texas, I have been an inventor and product designer for many years. One of my greatest innovations is a collapsible wheelchair designed for commercial airlines. This product has made air travel possible for millions of people with mobility impairments. In a wheelchair myself, I have a strong talent for creating products that provide innovative solutions with everybody in mind. For me (and millions of others), my lap is my number one work surface. I set out with a goal to create a product that allows the lap to serve multiple functions with a convenient all in one design.

I designed the Lap King to successfully transform a lap into a multi functional surface that you can write, eat, play, and work on. Everything you need is in this one stylish, durable, and portable lap desk. I hope you enjoy and find it as useful as I do. Thanks!
